About valerie

My name is Valerie and I am in the process of compiling my favorite recipes into an online cookbook. This idea was the brainchild of my husband who thought it would be nice to document my recipes and how they are made so that our kids would have easy access to them when and if they ever decide to cook for themselves. That being said, I am not a professional chef with credentials from some culinary institute, famous restaurant, etc. Instead, I am just a person who loves food and loves to cook. Luckily, I have a wonderful family that loves to eat what I prepare. I hope you will browse through my cookbook and find some recipes that you too will enjoy preparing and eating.

Water Bagels

Making water bagels can be a bit time consuming and labor intensive, but the results are great!  Once you’ve eaten a homemade water bagel, you’ll never want to buy bagels again. Today, I’m making sourdough water bagels and pumpernickel water bagels.
