Grilled Corn On The Cob

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat outdoor grill on high heat.
  2. Turn grill down to medium heat. Temperature should be 400° to 450°.
  3. Before grilling remove the husks and silk from each ear of corn.
  4. Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the palm of your hand and rub onto each ear of corn.
  5. Sprinkle each ear of corn with salt and pepper.
  6. Place corn on grill.
  7. Using a pair of tongs, rotate each ear every couple of minutes so that entire surface of the corn browns nicely; about 10 minutes total cooking time.

  10. Serve.

Nothing is better than a fresh ear of corn cooked on the grill. Sweet and smokey, it's a flavor combination you will enjoy over and over again when fresh corn is available.

If you do not have a grill you can still enjoy summer corn on the cob by cooking it on the stovetop. Just follow my recipe for Corn on the Cob.
