How To Cook Breakfast Sausage (Link Sausage)

Instructions

  1. Place the uncooked sausage in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add enough water to just cover the sausage.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the sausage from the saucepan and pat dry with paper towels.
  6. In a shallow skillet, heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil on medium heat.
  7. Add sausage.
  8. Use a pair of tongs to rotate the sausage frequently until the skin is brown and crisp.
  9. Serve.

Sausage can be cooked and sliced and then added to my Stuffing recipe.
