Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    Standard Oven: 375°   |   Convection Oven: 350°
  2. Lightly grease cookie sheets and set aside. Click here to learn more about how to grease cookie sheets.
  3. In a large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
  6. Gently mix or fold in oats and walnuts. NOTE: If you are omitting the walnuts add an extra ½ cup oats to the dough.
  7. Spoon batter onto cookie sheet forming loosely shaped 1-inch balls.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes; until golden brown.
  9. Cool on rack, serve.

Comments

Makes approximately 4 dozen cookies.

If you omit the walnuts add and extra ½ cup oats to the mixture.
