Herbed Rice

Ingredients

Onion and Garlic:

Rice:

Spices:

Broth:

Optional Parsley:

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat.
  2. Add onion and sauté until golden in color.
  3. Add garlic and fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add rice to pan stirring until a nice golden color; about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in spices and broth.
  6. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Reduce heat to lowest setting.
  8. Cover pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
  9. Stir in optional fresh parsley during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
